Families explain "Why Ketcham?" and what it means to be a 'friend' to this thriving school community.

Growth in education is beyond standardized test scores. Maintaining the simple elements of a happy childhood is an unspoken right and a crucial way to break the systemic injustices in education. At Ketcham, laughter is the common sound. Acceptance and appreciation is the heartbeat. And respect, love, and care for each other are the elements to a rich academic environment. "I think that's why Ketcham is growing in their test scores so much - children feel welcomed and wanted. Teachers genuinely care and the principal is phenomenal. Kids love their school!" - Amira Moore, parent
